Parks of the Duchy
Thousands of hectares of woods, green expanses, lakes and streams immersed in the splendid hilly and mountainous landscape of the province of Parma offer the opportunity for excursions, cycling or trekking routes and to taste typical dishes in historic taverns and trattorias that can be found along the route. The Taro and Trebbia River Parks, the Carrega Woods, the Hundred Lakes Park and the Stirone Park are just some of the beautiful "green realities" waiting to be discovered.
Natural oases
Our region is rich in enchanting landscapes and protected natural oases where you can admire very rare animal and plant species. Here are some of them, easily reachable by car from I Casali: Ghirardi Oasis, Parma Morta Nature Reserve, Monte Fuso wildlife oasis, Lipu Cavaliere d'Italia natural oasis and the Cronovilla natural area.
